  Thank you Dave!

I'm working hard on opening up a dialogue around my "garage" project. More about that in another post. But today I found myself hunting for an URL to include in my spec.

Here's the URL:

http://davenet.scripting.com/1999/05/24/editThisPage

Back on Monday, May 24th, 1999, Dave Winer described something that provoked me in a deep way.

This post doesn't seem to have been the first to articulate the idea that people could use a web browser to edit a web site: Ward Cunningham's Portland Pattern Repository seems to have been around since 1995. But I hadn't heard of it and I did read Dave's post.

Thanks!
